The Gift of New Tools

How many of you gave or received a tool this year?  Perhaps something small tucked in a stocking like a screwdriver with a flashlight attached or maybe a new whisk or spatula. Maybe it was something larger, like a cordless drill or a stand mixer.

Why are tools such great gifts? Because it is fun to have a new one or a new version of one. Tools help us get things done. They help us be more precise, efficient, and successful with our tasks.

I am a DIY girl at heart, yet I am reminded of how much further I can get and how much more I can accomplish and achieve when I allow tools to help me. As I spend some time this holiday break reading through and adding more coaching tools to my list, I am grateful to remember that I don’t have to figure it out and do it all on my own. There are personal development resources and tools of support to make things a little easier for me and guarantee a better outcome.
